To keep your luggage clean and beautiful for years to come, use a soft sponge or cloth, water or any mild household detergent. Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach, acetone, ammonia as well as coarse and abrasive sponges that can damage the finish of your hardside case and may discolor the fabric on your softside bag.
For sticky zippers, this can be caused by dirt, debris or years of use; we recommend using warm water and a small amount of dish soap and scrub your zippers. Remember to completely rinse and dry them afterwards. this will remove any debris and you can also use the lead of a pencil to gently rub the zipper teeth, which in turn will act as a dry lube on the zipper.
Store your luggage in an upright position in a dry location. Avoid storing luggage in extreme temperatures. To conveniently save space, all sizes from this collection nest (fit neatly) inside each other. Just open the largest suitcase and set the smaller size(s)—with the wheels facing the same direction—inside. Close lids and zip the outermost bag closed. When you're not out there exploring the world, we recommend keeping your luggage covered while being stored.

Yes. Every Avalon spinner — 20" Carry-On, 24" Medium, and 28" Large — includes a Travel Sentry Approved combination lock. TSA agents can open, inspect, and relock your bag using authorized master keys with no damage to the lock or zipper.
A built-in pocket lined with PVC creates a waterproof seal to hold toiletries, wet swimwear, or anything damp — completely isolated from your dry clothes. It sits on the lid side of the main compartment for easy access.
Avalon spinners come in four colors: Serengeti Night, Black, Storm Blue, and Juniper Green. All four are certified to the Global Recycled Standard and share the same hardware and interior organization.

Have not opened this one yet as it is actually a birthday present for someone. HOWEVER, we have 2 just like it & love so we are expecting the same opinion from our friend, the recipient of the gift.
I absolutely love this luggage! It looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. It’s beautiful, feels very sturdy, and seems to be excellent quality. I’m looking forward to using it on my trip soon, and I’ll definitely be making another purchase!
This is my second Ricardo luggage. My other one is the larger size. This one replaced a Sampsonite that I had for many years and trips. It was still serviceable- just looked rough. I decided to go with Avalon because of the lite weight and durability
I really love this suitcase. I was concerned it would not have as much room as my older Ricardo suitcase I have had for 10 years. The wheels completely disintegrated but the rest of the suitcase is like brand new. I checked with Ricardo and they told me they no longer make wheels nor could they find any so I went ahead and bought this one while it was on a great sale. Its a bit smaller than my other one but I went on a 5 day trip and had plenty of room for everything plus I love the feel of the fabric. I am going to try and find an old suitcase like my other one and swap wheels...thats how much I love it. But until then, I will use this one.
We actually bought the Avalon Medium Check In by mistake. My wife loved the look of the Serengeti Night and wanted the carry on version but somehow I bought the check in version instead. We decided to keep it and I then ordered the carry on so she will have both. Just like our other 8 Ricardo items, the Avalon Expandable Spinner is very well made. The wheels spin with ease, the pockets are just the right height and support, and the zippers are smooth opening and closing. The Medium Check In provides perfect amount of room to easily carry 5 to 7 days of clothing on vacation. Overall a very nice suitcase and unique design. Highly recommend.
Love Ricardo Beverly Hills luggage- we had the purple paisley suitcases for years and the sturdy quality (especially the wheels, handles and zippers), ease of use and being very lightweight was beyond any bags we've ever owned before
Although sad that the paisley print is no longer available, we decided to go with the Serengeti Night pattern as our new "easy to spot" high quality luggage option and it doesn't disappoint
Everything works. The packing is easy and feels secure when all zipped up. The case was easy to spot on the conveyer belt at the airport. Bright colors and unusual prints are the best!
Finally had a chance to use new luggage we bought! It was great, best luggage I've ever had. I was nervous to shift to a zipper style since I've traveled with the same hard luggage for 40 years, but they are very sturdy. There is a place for everything, it is light and easy to maneuver (love the handles all over!) and I feel good knowing it was made from recycled bottles. Thanks for a great product.

We love our two Medium soft side Avalon spinner suitcases. The color is lovely and the interior straps beneficial. We've had this brand in the past and it held up better than anything we've had since.
HOWEVER, the carry on HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED. We're still waiting and hope it shows up without incident.

I received the black finish, which looks professional and is less likely to show scratches. It seems to have great build quality, but only time will tell. I received this check-in suitcase just before a big work trip, and the size of this bag is perfect for a week-long trip where I can�t rewear most outfits! The bag is nicely organized, with two outer pockets on the front, a wet compartment inside, and two mesh zip compartments for organization. Everything fit nicely, and I was amazed at how much I could fit (with three pairs of shoes it was 44lbs when packed, so close to the limit!). The built in locking mechanism is really nice- super simple to lock the main compartment, and it�s TSA approved so no issues there. The four wheels move in every direction and made it really easy to roll from the parking lot and through the airport, etc.
This is my first trip with the bag, so it hasn�t been subjected to too much stress yet, but it works great so far and looks very nice. It seems flatter than other similar size suitcases, which is nice for fitting it in trunks and having it not take up too much space when in storage. Very attractive, yet rugged high quality suitcase. Very pretty dark blue color with a nice protective coating. 360 degree wheels are so smooth and spin with ease. It is lightweight and has a combination lock on the side. I was pleasantly surprised at how much clothing I could fit in it�it is nice and deep and has handles on the top and the side as well as the telescopic handle. As a bonus, I discovered that it has a convenient wet pocket for damp or soiled items as well as some mesh pockets. It is also eco friendly, made of recycled plastic! Definitely a high quality, upscale brand. Very pleased with this product.
It is big and can store lots of items. It is not as durable as a plastic luggage. The wheels are great and quick. The handle is easy to grab. Overall the luggage is great.
I love how this luggage is so easy to wheel around. It has a built in lock which I love. It also has a 10 year warranty but what I love the most is how much space it has. It has from pockets as well. The only thing is, I wish it was a hard shell instead.
