rPET is recycled polyethylene terephthalate: plastic that has been recovered and made into new fabric. The Avalon uses rPET for both the exterior and the lining, certified to the Global Recycled Standard.
The GRS is an independent third-party certification that verifies recycled content. The Avalon was certified by IDFL and Intertek in 2023.
