Every Malibu Bay 3.0 piece is treated with Polygiene® StayFresh® — a silver salt-based antimicrobial technology that inhibits odor-causing bacteria and mold on touch-points, built permanently into the fabric.

Malibu Bay 3.0 uses a heathered polyester shell — softer and lighter than polycarbonate hardside or structured nylon. The 22" carry-on weighs just 7.1 lbs, the 27" medium 9 lbs, and the 31" large 10.4 lbs. That leaves more of your airline weight allowance for what actually matters.
No. Malibu Bay 3.0 uses EYL YKK® lockable zippers — you can secure them with your own TSA-approved luggage lock, but there is no built-in combination lock. If a built-in TSA lock is important to you, consider the Avalon or Montecito 2.0 collections.
The USB port is on the 22" Carry-On only. Place a power bank in the interior pouch, route the integrated cord to your devices, and charge without opening the bag. The carry-on also includes a removable TSA-friendly toiletry pouch — neither the medium nor large check-in include the USB port or toiletry pouch.
