To keep your luggage clean and beautiful for years to come, use a soft sponge or cloth, water or any mild household detergent. Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach, acetone, ammonia as well as coarse and abrasive sponges that can damage the finish of your hardside case and may discolor the fabric on your softside bag.
For sticky zippers, this can be caused by dirt, debris or years of use; we recommend using warm water and a small amount of dish soap and scrub your zippers. Remember to completely rinse and dry them afterwards. this will remove any debris and you can also use the lead of a pencil to gently rub the zipper teeth, which in turn will act as a dry lube on the zipper.
Store your luggage in an upright position in a dry location. Avoid storing luggage in extreme temperatures. To conveniently save space, all sizes from this collection nest (fit neatly) inside each other. Just open the largest suitcase and set the smaller size(s)—with the wheels facing the same direction—inside. Close lids and zip the outermost bag closed. When you're not out there exploring the world, we recommend keeping your luggage covered while being stored.

It's sized to meet most major airline overhead compartment requirements. We always recommend confirming your airline's specific policy before flying — limits can vary, particularly on regional or budget carriers.
Yes — the Travel Sentry® approved combination lock is built into all three Rodeo Drive 2.0 Hardside sizes. No separate padlock needed. TSA agents can open, inspect, and relock your bag without cutting or damaging anything.
The 21" carry-on expands by 2" and the 25" and 29" checked sizes expand by 2.5". It's designed for the return trip — when souvenirs, shopping, or just looser packing means you need more room than you started with.
Every Rodeo Drive 2.0 Hardside includes a removable drawstring laundry bag and shoe bags. The laundry bag keeps worn items separated from clean ones, and the shoe bags protect your footwear — and everything packed around them.

I bought the Rodeo Drive 2.0 Hardside Carry-On Expandable Spinner. It is simply amazing. You can spend hundreds of dollars to acquire this quality, but you do not have to! If you are looking for a solid, good looking piece of luggage-this Ricardo line is the ticket. Love it!!!!
My online order went smooth. I was super happy when I saw the beautiful red color. I'll have to buy some matching clothes to travel with my carry-on. Nice to have the shoe bags too.

And it looks really cool with the metallic stripe (my husband said it looks like it was made that way)! The material is great for painting as long as you use a paint appropriate for plastics.
My last fabric sided Ricardo bag lasted me over a decade of travel (at least twice a year) so i hope this one holds up the same. These bags are under rated!

I am quite pleased with my new Rodeo 2.0. However, I have a concern regarding its size; despite being labeled as a 21-inch suitcase, it appears significantly smaller compared to my other Ricardo 21-inch luggage. That said, it is indeed a well-crafted piece of luggage. One drawback is that it did not come with a cover, unlike my other Ricardo bags, which would have been beneficial for storage purposes. My previous Ricardo luggage has withstood extensive travel and remains in excellent condition, and I had been considering the Rodeo for some time. Unfortunately, it does not measure a true 21 inches, as evidenced in the accompanying image. If you require a genuine 21-inch suitcase, it may be advisable to explore other options. Additionally, I observed that the wheels are somewhat inwardly positioned, which reduces the available storage space. Overall, the construction quality is commendable, but I do have reservations about its actual dimensions
I got the purple for my mom. She loves it very much. It's so light and roll so we'll. Very spacious inside and out came with shoes bags, accessory bags, toiletry bag.
This is by far the best suitcase that I have ever owned. It is absolutely beautiful and everything works as it is supposed to. From responsive zippers to smooth gliding handle and sturdy spinner wheels.
The interior is stunning. A piece of art in itself. The fabric is so gorgeous, that you feel confident placing your valuable clothes within it.

It’s my second Ricardo carry-on. The wheels on the first weren’t spinners, so I upgraded to the 2.0. Love the size, durability and style. And the expandable feature fits more than you think.

I received my Rodeo 2.0 in the mail and immediately loved it! The quality is very durable. I especially love the interior of this bag. It’s so colorful and happy. The inside has an attachment to charge your devices and it comes with 3 bags for shoes and laundry. I can’t wait to get the checked bag next to complete my collection.

I bought this carry-on for my granddaughter for an upcoming 13th birthday trip. It is a lovely color and the lining is gorgeous! (I couldn't post photos because it's wrapped and waiting for her birthday to arrive.) I have a Ricardo carry-on I bought the year she was born; it's been all over the world and, except for a few scratches, it's still in practically brand-new condition--even the wheels--so Ricardo was my go-to for her first grown-up luggage. The Rodeo hard-side is nearly identical to my well-loved bag, but slightly smaller to comply with current carry-on regulations and with some significant upgrades. The best parts are the useful interior pockets, the shoe and laundry bags, and the onboard charging capability (a must for connected teens!). I also appreciate the TSA-compliant locks and hidden ID pocket, although I'm not sure that most people will find the ID. From another site, I also bought her some compression packing cubes in a lovely dark teal that look great with the Birds-of-Paradise lining and which will help her pack for the week of her trip in one bag. I expect her to use this luggage for many years to come.
Ricardo truly had actual travelers in mind when they designed this suitcase!
I fly to multiple locations coast to coast weekly. I go through at least 2 carry-ons per year. Typically it's the wheels or the handle that break first on most. I have used most recently Travelpro, Samsonite, and Briggs & Riley.
I've had my new Ricardo Beverly Hills 2.0 for a few months now. I have to say, this suitcase just might be my new go-to!
All of my other cases had something so glaringly wrong or annoying, that if something didn't break, I was just tired of dealing with it and got something else.
I am so glad to have found Ricardo! They somehow addressed all of the little annoying things found in other suitcases that are supposed to be "high end".
Favorite things:
- The look! As a frequent traveler, we are always checking out other people's gear in airports. I get so many looks and compliments on it.
- The oversized and super stable exterior slide up handle. This thing is so substantial, and can be used getting in and out of shuttles without having to collapse and use top handle.
- The zippers. I know it's a little thing, but having solid and functioning zippers that hold down a packed suitcase is big to me.
- Battery. I love the small size and pocket, but most of all the battery itself. It's the only one I've found that you don't have to unzip your suitcase to turn it on. You just plug in your device under the handle and it starts charging!
- Quality materials. This is the same, or better quality than suitcases I've paid 3x as much for.
My only negative I can find might be the wheel design. Such a small detail. They are flat, which makes it slightly more difficult to roll over carpet (found in many airports). The wheel design on others (Travelpro) are tapered to a rounded edge, which flows better on multiple surfaces.
I just can't say enough about this suitcase. I plan to outfit my entire family with these!
