To keep your luggage clean and beautiful for years to come, use a soft sponge or cloth, water or any mild household detergent. Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach, acetone, ammonia as well as coarse and abrasive sponges that can damage the finish of your hardside case and may discolor the fabric on your softside bag.
For sticky zippers, this can be caused by dirt, debris or years of use; we recommend using warm water and a small amount of dish soap and scrub your zippers. Remember to completely rinse and dry them afterwards. this will remove any debris and you can also use the lead of a pencil to gently rub the zipper teeth, which in turn will act as a dry lube on the zipper.
Store your luggage in an upright position in a dry location. Avoid storing luggage in extreme temperatures. To conveniently save space, all sizes from this collection nest (fit neatly) inside each other. Just open the largest suitcase and set the smaller size(s)—with the wheels facing the same direction—inside. Close lids and zip the outermost bag closed. When you're not out there exploring the world, we recommend keeping your luggage covered while being stored.

It's sized to meet most major airline overhead compartment requirements. We always recommend confirming your airline's specific policy before flying, limits can vary, particularly on regional or budget carriers.
The USB cord is built into the carry-on and connects to a portable power bank you place inside the bag. Route the cord through the protected port and you can charge your devices without opening the bag. Available on the 21" Carry-On and FastAccess™ Carry-On only.
The FastAccess™ is a front-opening pocket on the FastAccess™ Carry-On that fits laptops up to 15". It opens without unzipping the main compartment, so you can pull out your laptop at security without disrupting everything else.
The carry-on sizes expand by 2" / 5 cm and the checked sizes expand by 2.5" / 6.3 cm. It's designed for the return leg, when you've picked up souvenirs, shopping, or just packed more loosely than you planned. The Cargo Trunk doesn't use an expansion zipper, its shape and depth fit larger, bulkier items directly.
Yes. The Travel Sentry® approved combination lock is built into every Montecito 2.0 Hardside size, from the 21" Carry-On through the Cargo Trunk. No separate padlock needed. TSA agents can open, inspect, and relock it without damage.
Polycarbonate is significantly more impact-resistant than ABS plastic, it flexes under pressure rather than cracking. The Montecito 2.0 uses 100% polycarbonate with reinforced corners for strong protection against drops, compression, and the general chaos of baggage handling.

I just received the Montecito 2.0 large in hunter green. It is well appointed, with sturdy wheels, handle and a spacious inside. I haven’t used it yet, but I had a Ricardo for almost 15 years and I am sure that this one will hold up equally well. My old bag is still fine, I just wanted a change.

Actually I have been using Ricardo since 2005, I have 4 sets carry on and large for my family, out of that 4 sets, one set still able to use, the rest were history. Im saying this, it’s because Ricardo was reliable, and sturdy.

The Montecito 2.0 Hardside Large Check-In Luggage from Ricardo Beverly Hills is very high quality and luxurious. It is very spacious and is sure to hold all of your belongings. With just this one piece of luggage, I was able to fit a weeks worth of winter clothing for both myself and my daughter. Plus, there was still room to comfortably pack our toiletries inside the attached protective toiletry bag, which will protect our clothes from potential leaks or spills. The combination lock gives me piece of mind knowing my belongings are safe when the luggage is not in my posession and if my luggage were to ever get lost in transit, there is recessed I.D. card holder to store my contact information. This luggage is also easy to transport with swivel wheels that rotate 360 degrees and roll effortlessly. On top of all that, this luggage just looks fabulous! This luggage bag from Richard's has to be the most luxurious bag that I have owned and I am so lucky that I got to try it for free!
