To keep your luggage clean and beautiful for years to come, use a soft sponge or cloth, water or any mild household detergent. Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach, acetone, ammonia as well as coarse and abrasive sponges that can damage the finish of your hardside case and may discolor the fabric on your softside bag.
For sticky zippers, this can be caused by dirt, debris or years of use; we recommend using warm water and a small amount of dish soap and scrub your zippers. Remember to completely rinse and dry them afterwards. this will remove any debris and you can also use the lead of a pencil to gently rub the zipper teeth, which in turn will act as a dry lube on the zipper.
Store your luggage in an upright position in a dry location. Avoid storing luggage in extreme temperatures. To conveniently save space, all sizes from this collection nest (fit neatly) inside each other. Just open the largest suitcase and set the smaller size(s)—with the wheels facing the same direction—inside. Close lids and zip the outermost bag closed. When you're not out there exploring the world, we recommend keeping your luggage covered while being stored.

Yes. Every Avalon spinner — 20" Carry-On, 24" Medium, and 28" Large — includes a Travel Sentry Approved combination lock. TSA agents can open, inspect, and relock your bag using authorized master keys with no damage to the lock or zipper.
A built-in pocket lined with PVC creates a waterproof seal to hold toiletries, wet swimwear, or anything damp — completely isolated from your dry clothes. It sits on the lid side of the main compartment for easy access.
Avalon spinners come in four colors: Serengeti Night, Black, Storm Blue, and Juniper Green. All four are certified to the Global Recycled Standard and share the same hardware and interior organization.

I purchased a Ricardo carry-on at Ross at least 14 years ago, and it has been an absolute tank after over 300,000 Delta miles. There still was nothing physically wrong with the case itself, but the rubber coating on the handle started to peel, and it only had the two wheels versus spinners so I started looking to replace it. All of the suitcases found in stores were noticeably smaller than my old Ricardo, so I searched for them online. Indeed, I forget the exact measurements now, but this suitcase is about an inch bigger on both sides than what I found in stores and even the Tumi suitcases. For whatever reason, that inch makes a big difference and in my hundreds of trips I've never had a Delta agent tell me it was too big. I hope this lasts as long as my last one.
