To keep your luggage clean and beautiful for years to come, use a soft sponge or cloth, water or any mild household detergent. Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach, acetone, ammonia as well as coarse and abrasive sponges that can damage the finish of your hardside case and may discolor the fabric on your softside bag.
For sticky zippers, this can be caused by dirt, debris or years of use; we recommend using warm water and a small amount of dish soap and scrub your zippers. Remember to completely rinse and dry them afterwards. this will remove any debris and you can also use the lead of a pencil to gently rub the zipper teeth, which in turn will act as a dry lube on the zipper.
Store your luggage in an upright position in a dry location. Avoid storing luggage in extreme temperatures. To conveniently save space, all sizes from this collection nest (fit neatly) inside each other. Just open the largest suitcase and set the smaller size(s)—with the wheels facing the same direction—inside. Close lids and zip the outermost bag closed. When you're not out there exploring the world, we recommend keeping your luggage covered while being stored.

It's sized to meet most major airline overhead compartment requirements. We always recommend confirming your airline's specific policy before flying — limits can vary, particularly on regional or budget carriers.
Yes — the Travel Sentry® approved combination lock is built into all three Rodeo Drive 2.0 Hardside sizes. No separate padlock needed. TSA agents can open, inspect, and relock your bag without cutting or damaging anything.
The 21" carry-on expands by 2" and the 25" and 29" checked sizes expand by 2.5". It's designed for the return trip — when souvenirs, shopping, or just looser packing means you need more room than you started with.
Every Rodeo Drive 2.0 Hardside includes a removable drawstring laundry bag and shoe bags. The laundry bag keeps worn items separated from clean ones, and the shoe bags protect your footwear — and everything packed around them.

We have been fortunate to travel the world, some for pleasure and others to lend a helping hand where needed. Ricardo luggage is all we will ever buy. We are on our third set as a family. First set, son left on a train in France by grabbing the wrong bags, we turned what we grabbed by accident back in but no luck with ours. We decided to buy colors to recognize our bags. The wheels are the best, the zippers are the best, the locks are secure, and the hard shells are built like a tank but ultra light. These things are built to last, it’s an investment but well worth it.
I had Ricardo Beverly Hills for over 15 years, I took it with me around the world. A couple of years ago, one corner was damaged due to handling at the airport, but the luggage is still usable! It was time for a new one, hoping it will be a strong as the one I loved for many years. So far like it, light, beautiful design and looks very sturdy. Taking it on a trip soon in March!
Love the size, ability to pack things in an organized manner and easy to move. Only drawback is finding ample space to open it in a hotel because they don’t fit on hotel luggage racks. Hotels need to provide bigger luggage racks.
I finally went on my first airline trip with this suitcase. Love the color blue. Absolutely love the bottom carry grip makes lifting the suitcase so much easier. The suitcase went to London. On the return, the case did not make my flight and was moved to multiple locations in the terminal before catching a flight home. Then a courier service delivered it to my door. So far not a single scratch on the case. Still looks brand new. It rolled very nicely on my one trip. I did not use any of the interior organizing straps. I guess I need to give them a try.
I have the lilac set and my husband has the black medium of the Rodeo.2 collection. We love them so much we purchased another medium in blue for my husband (blue is his favorite color.)
I wish Ricardo would bring back the silver lilac, it is so pretty!

We previously bought the smaller version of this suitcase from Costco. While it seems that the days of buying suitcases for life are long gone, our Ricardo suitcases have held up much better than others. In fact, while all of other suitcases have lost wheels, developed cracks, or had their zippers fail, our Costco Ricardo suitcases are the only ones without any functional defects (merely cosmetic blemishes).
And that's not for lack of trying by the airlines. They truly are rough on suitcases.
Since Costco unfortunately doesn't carry any of the other models (or at least, it doesn't do so at the moment), we have since bought the medium size Ricardo suitcase directly from the manufacturer. We love the "odd" color that will make it easy to find at the airport, the features are just a well-designed as with the smaller version, weight is very competitive, and while pricing is a bit higher than some alternatives, I have high hopes for the longevity.
I was also considering splurging on more expensive brands that claim to have a true "forever" warranty, but alas, web reviews suggest that while those other brands are in fact well-designed, that are a lot more expensive, they still break, and the warranty is frequently not as useful as advertisement would make it sound like.
I mourn the days of buying more sturdy luggage, but for the time being, Ricardo is a good middle ground that has worked quite well for our family.
The representatives were very responsive to my mistake on a shipping address and corrected it immediately. The suitcase arrived within a couple of days. Much quicker than I expected.

I absolutely love my Rodeo 2.0 Medium Check-In Luggage in Silver Lilac. It is by far the most stylish and comfortable piece of luggage I have ever owned. I tend to be a heavy packer and this luggage has a generous amount of space. I was able to pack everything I needed for over a week in the medium sized bag. It is also designed in a way that helps keep everything organized and easy to access. The interior is beautiful and I love the extras it brings, like the bags for shoes and laundry and the TSA lock feature. I also really like the bottom grip that makes it easy to carry and bring down from the airport luggage carrousels. I can’t say enough about the smooth 360 degree spinning wheels that are so needed when having to move around quickly and for longer distances with the luggage. After this experience, I am definitely a Ricardo Beverly Hills fan and look forward to adding a Large Suitcase to my travel gear for my next travel adventure. -Maria
Absolutely love this line of Ricardo suitcases! I had to complete my collection by getting the medium-sized check-in to match my carry-on. It's wonderfully crafted. And I can't help but to love the color, too!
Traveling with this suitcase is excellent. It rolls smoothly on all surfaces and is comfortable and easy on the hands while gripping. I traveled though some airports that had tile and carpet and the bag rolled easily on both surfaces. Having a good suitcase can make any trip even better. The bag comes with bags for laundry and a bag for shoes. I highly recommend this bag.
