To keep your luggage clean and beautiful for years to come, use a soft sponge or cloth, water or any mild household detergent. Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach, acetone, ammonia as well as coarse and abrasive sponges that can damage the finish of your hardside case and may discolor the fabric on your softside bag.
For sticky zippers, this can be caused by dirt, debris or years of use; we recommend using warm water and a small amount of dish soap and scrub your zippers. Remember to completely rinse and dry them afterwards. this will remove any debris and you can also use the lead of a pencil to gently rub the zipper teeth, which in turn will act as a dry lube on the zipper.
Store your luggage in an upright position in a dry location. Avoid storing luggage in extreme temperatures. To conveniently save space, all sizes from this collection nest (fit neatly) inside each other. Just open the largest suitcase and set the smaller size(s)—with the wheels facing the same direction—inside. Close lids and zip the outermost bag closed. When you're not out there exploring the world, we recommend keeping your luggage covered while being stored.

It's sized to meet most major airline overhead compartment requirements. We always recommend confirming your airline's specific policy before flying — limits can vary, particularly on regional or budget carriers.
The USB cord is built into the carry-on and connects to a portable power bank you place inside the bag. Route the cord through the protected port and you can charge your devices without opening the bag. Available on the 21" Carry-On and FastAccess™ Carry-On only.
The FastAccess™ is a front-opening pocket on the FastAccess™ Carry-On that fits laptops up to 15". It opens without unzipping the main compartment, so you can pull out your laptop at security without disrupting everything else.
The carry-on sizes expand by 2" / 5 cm and the checked sizes expand by 2.5" / 6.3 cm. It's designed for the return leg — when you've picked up souvenirs, shopping, or just packed more loosely than you planned.
Yes — the Travel Sentry® approved combination lock is built into every Montecito 2.0 Hardside size, from the 21" Carry-On through the 29" Large Check-In. No separate padlock needed. TSA agents can open, inspect, and relock it without damage.
Polycarbonate is significantly more impact-resistant than ABS plastic — it flexes under pressure rather than cracking. The Montecito 2.0 uses 100% polycarbonate with reinforced corners for superior protection against drops, compression, and the general chaos of baggage handling.

I purchased this piece to replace my 25 year old Ricardo carry-on. Love everything about it (even the color green matches my set) BUT…. Phone chargers are becoming more robust and trying to find one that fit the space in this suitcase and provide the power I wanted proved quite difficult. Your next power bank slip should have a little more give or be made with a stretch fabric or mesh. That would have made this perfect!

However the inside compartments are rather shallow; I would have liked to have a deeper compartment , especially on the front half .
The carryon rolls really well , and I like the recess on the bottom that makes it very easy to lift the luggage up to the overhead bin for storage.
