The Opportunity

Who we need: Ricardo Beverly Hills is searching for a talented Web Designer with a passion for creating innovative user experiences for our brands. You will play a pivotal role in the growth of our online channels, working directly under the Creative Director, while working closely with our Creative and Digital Marketing team to support digital marketing campaigns. You will conceptualize and design online brand marketing content such as landing pages, email design, digital ads, visual blog content, social media graphics (flat or animated) and additional supporting assets to keep our digital presence engaging. You will help ensure the projects are visually compelling across channels, consistent with the brand aesthetic to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. You understand digital marketing best-practices and trends, campaign management, have a data driven mindset and are able to present ideas clearly and effectively to a team of resources in order to help concepts reach completion successfully. You will keep up with best practices, maintaining knowledge of competitive sites and ideas.


  • Design desktop, mobile, and tablet content that accurately reflects the goals, objectives, and identities of Ricardo Beverly Hills' family of brands
  • Provide strategic direction and concept development in concert with the Creative Director and creative team for online projects from concept to implementation
  • Develop assets to support regular digital updates (homepage assets, site banners, landing pages, emails, display banners, etc.)
  • Build incoming and outgoing marketing digital content such as marketing emails and blog posts
  • Enhance online usability and visual appeal while preserving branding and optimizing functionality
  • Maintain, organize and archive library of web assets to help retrieve historical content or create new content as needed.


  • BA/BS in Web Design, Graphic Design or similar, OR demonstrable equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of digital marketing and or graphic design experience (preferably in a B2C, D2C ecommerce or fashion, travel or CPG company)
  • Native understanding of the entire digital environment (browser usability, cross-platform compatibility, color and site performance optimization)
  • Understanding of Web design, UI/UX, typography, color theory and current website/application standards.
  • Portfolio showing examples of responsive design
  • Solid technical skill and an articulate understanding of basic CMS conventions
  • In-Depth knowledge of design software, ecommerce platforms and Digital Marketing Acquisition platforms as well a authoring tools such as:
    - Adobe Creative Suite (.Ai, Ps. InD, Premiere, After Effects…)
    - Shopify
    - My Emma, or equivalent
    - HTML5 (Dreamweaver, Sublime, or other)
    - CSS, both global and inline applications


  • Outstanding design skills and creativity, with a focus on clean and refined e-commerce-oriented aesthetics.
  • Proven track record managing marketing assets and optimizing for performance
  • Ability to manage time effectively, setting and meeting deadlines while maintaining quality of work
  • Self-motivated/ self-confident with a collaborative spirit

  • Prior experience with Animation and Video a plus
