Product Care

Our luggage is designed to endure the rigors of your travels and keep you looking good wherever you go! Here are some tips to keep your luggage looking fresh:

Softside Luggage

For nylon and polyester bags, clean with a soft, damp cloth. For stains, we suggest a luggage cleaner or a mixture of equal parts water and isopropyl alcohol. Avoid using cleaning products containing bleach. Adhesive lint rollers work great to remove lint and dust.

Hardside Luggage

Use a soft sponge or cloth, water or any mild household detergent to clean hardside luggage. For difficult marks, use an all-purpose household spray and rub vigorously. Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach as well as coarse and abrasive sponges that can damage the finish of your hardside case.

Storage

Store your wheeled luggage in an upright position in a dry location. Avoid storing luggage in extreme temperatures. We recommend nesting small luggage inside larger luggage for easy, compact storage.

Transportation Damage

Airline damage is not covered under our warranty. If your bag has been damaged in transit, file a claim immediately with your airline’s customer service before leaving the airport. They will examine your bag and provide instructions on how to proceed.

Repair and Warranty

Defects in materials or craftsmanship are typically discovered within during the first year of use. Over the years with time and use, your luggage may show signs of wear and tear. This is most commonly seen with moving parts – wheels, handles and zippers. Should you ever need to have your bag repaired, we invite you to visit our Warranty and Repair page for more information.

Style Number

The style number of your bag can be found on a white label sewn into the suitcase lid or the lining around its interior. This label will show the style number and will read “Style # 034-20-603- WAB”, for example.

Setting your TSA-compliant lock

Although many of our products have different TSA lock designs, setting the combination stays the same. For instructions on setting your lock, please consult the TSA Lock Instruction card with the luggage hangtag, our Youtube channel, or the instructions below:

  1. Start with the lock set to the pre-set combination 0-0-0
  2. Press down the small, circular reset button on the side of the lock with a narrow tool until you hear a click. A pen, pencil or paperclip works well.
  3. Set your new combination by turning the dials to your desired code.
  4. Once you've entered your new combination, push or pull the lock or unlock button until you hear another click. After this second click, the new combination is set.

Transportation Security Administration

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screeners and airline check-in staff at airports are trained to recognize the Travel Sentry® logo. They understand that baggage with locks displaying this mark is permitted to remain locked. TSA screeners have access to special codes that allow them to open those locks in the event that the baggage must be opened for inspection. With Travel Sentry® Approved locks the TSA can screen checked baggage faster, without having to break open locks.
