I've bought many Ricardo bags over the years for myself and partner. However, the quality is just the same as before. I am an avid traveler for work and pleasure and love having a hardshell suitcase as it protects my things well. After my most recent Ricardo hardshell suitcase cracked at the corners by the wheels I bought the exact same one but the grey version of it. To my surprise the durability and sturdiness is not like the previous one I was replacing. Due to this I immediately decided I didn't want it returned it. This is where I got a bigger surprise. I had to pay for the returning shipping! So a suitcase that I bought directly from Ricardo for $215.00 is now costing me $115 (which was the cheapest) to ship it back.
If you are thinking of buying one of their suitcases be sure to check it out first. Because if you buy it direct from them and it's not what you wanted then be ready to pay up to return it.

I bought the medium size Monticeno violet piece of luggage. I love the color, the fact that the wheels turn 360 in any direction. The zipped pockets inside the suitcase are really handy and the tie downs are a great feature. As is the TSA luggage locks.

I love this medium size luggage. It’s a very classy, decorative piece. It’s also very sturdy yet very lightweight. It’s definitely made high quality. It’s very easy handle and is very spacious enough to fit everything you need for a business trip, vacation or just a getaway. I love the code lock feature so there’s no padlock needed.

We travel often but our bags dont hold up well in the airports lately. Itll get scuffed or ripped. So we needed new ones immediately. This luggage sealed the deal for us. It's hard sided which is ideal for the issues we experienced with the bags we already owned. It has a lock feature on it which is also nice if you want some peace of mind with your belongings. When you open it,it has organized areas for better packing. It's a beautiful, soft material inside as well. Has a luxury feel to it. Rolling or dragging it is a breeze too. Very smooth. Its wonderful. I no longer have to worry about my bag when traveling now. I love it. Definitely recommend

I was in need of a new suitcase. I chose this piece because it was lightweight and divides the storage space in half instead of the usual top side access. The split compartment allows easier access to open and close instead of digging through. It handled well through baggage. It did scuff though. Wheels operated well and it was easy to get through the airport with it. It came with lost luggage finder which is a nice bonus. I look forward to more trips with it.

The best thing about Ricardo Beverly Hills Medium Check-In Suitcase are the rolling wheels. They glide so easy that very little effort is needed to control its ride.The suitcase has a sleek look that I love and inside there are many straps to keep your packed items in place. The hard protective shell should survive the airline drops. Used it once and so far I haven't had any problems with it!

It’s always nice to have a suitcase that stands out at baggage claim. I absolutely love the built in lock in this one. It’s simple to use, but is super secure!!! You have to line the numbers up just right plus slide the side out to unlock. The interior pockets are also handy. I’ve stuffed the picket until it couldn’t stretch and the zippers hold up great. It’s nice to keep documents and smaller items separate and organized. This suitcase looks good, but is functional and sturdy for checking!

The outside of the Montecito hard side luggage is durable and made to last. I like the leather accents on the front and inside of the luggage. There is an option to expand the luggage which gives you a few more inches of space. The spinner wheels are smooth and help the luggage glide across any surface. On the top of the luggage there is a TSA approved code lock to protect your belongings. The inside of the luggage has two compartments and has plenty of zippered pockets.

The outer shell of this suitcase is very durable. The extra zipper, which allows the case to expand is a very nice feature. I also love the way the compartments are set up, allowing a very organized pack. The TSA lock is great. Very easy to set, and you know your luggage will be secure.

This medium check in suit case was way better than we had thought. It comes with a built in lock and it’s double sided. This medium suit case is perfect for not only packing everything I need but for also packing everything my 4 and 2 year old would need for traveling. We will definitely be purchasing another as we love this one. I also like that it’s a hard shell.

With its roomy interior, my husband and I packed for a week and a half trip in one suitcase. I love the polycarbonate shell, which is durable and flexible. The wheels, along with the telescoping handle, are amazing. They suitcase glides so easily across the floor. The zippers are sturdy and double-stitched. There are two zippers – one to open the suitcase and the other for expanding the suitcase. There are three handles: telescoping (mentioned above), one on top of the suitcase, and one on the side. Sturdy, stylish, just the right size. My husband uses for work and he is able to fit his clothes, important papers, toiletries in an organized manner. He’s on the road every other day so the durability is important to him. Also stored under neath his bus a bag can take a beating and this bag can handle it. He loves the quality and compartments.

My wife and I love this suitcase. This is a good looking suitcase. It is stylish and functional. Used it on as my luggage on a week long trip to Europe; I was able to fit everything I needed but didn’t find myself overpacking because of excess space. It rolls smooth and seems to be durable (only based on one trip). I’d recommend to a friend or family.

The Montecito hardside medium check-in is a stylish, durable, and functional piece of luggage that is now my go-to for travel. I loooove this suitcase. It is the nicest one I have ever owned and I'm so glad I chose this version. Lovely business-classy look, very sturdy build - inside allows you to completely organize how you please and strap in/TSA lock what you don't want messed with. Solid promise everything will be in place when you arrive at your destination. Can't wait for my next trip!
